Author
Elizabeth (Liz) McGrath grew up in very rural Montville, Connecticut, the fourth of six children (all one to one-and-a-half years apart!). Drawing and coloring became great ways to escapee the chaos and find privacy. Liz graduated from Boston's Chamberlayne with an Associate of Arts degree. Liz, her husband Tim, and their two daughters, Caleigh and Maeve, have recently returned to New England where they all continue to create various artworks.

Barbara Quick is the author of the 2007 novel VIVALDI'S VIRGINS, which has been translated into fourteen languages. NORTHERN EDGE, her first novel, won the Discover Prize. Her latest novel, A GOLDEN WEB, set in 14th century Bologna, will be published by HarperTeen in April 2010. At work now on another novel set in the world of music, Barbara tends a small farm and vineyard in the California Wine Country with her fiance Wayne Roden, who is a violist with the San Francisco Symphony.
