Foster care coordinator, town supervisor, improvisational comedian, bedtime storyteller, soccer coach, and writer, Kevin Brennan is a man of diverse interests and talents. He utilizes his bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, and his Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in his career with Oconto County Health & Human Services. Kevin credits his wife Nancie and their three children, Tommy, Ellie, and Owen, for his writing inspiration. Jimmy Jammers is his first published story.
Illustrator
When other little girls were playing with Barbies, Betty Driessen was drawing them (along with horses, trees, and whatever else was around). A full time artist, Elizabeth (Betty) works as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. She also enjoys creating wall murals, doing commissioned watercolor paintings, learning about art history, and having fun with photography. Betty is a member of the Appleton Arts Center and does volunteer art/calligraphy for the American Cancer Society. She and her husband Richard delight in taking the top off the Jeep Wrangler in the summer and traveling the countryside.
