Hugo's mamá sends him to the store to buy soap. Of course, Hugo takes the long way there which gets him into loads of trouble and plenty of mud. Author and Illustrater
Elizabeth Dulemba illustrated her first book, Madame Perroquet in 2004. Since then, she has illustrated 6 more books one being Paco and the Giant Chile Plant. In addition to loving all things Appalachian, Elizabeth loves to garden, teach art classes, and learn about new cultures. She now lives in the Atlanta area with her husband, two big dogs and one tiny cat.
